Flexiv Robots
Flexiv was founded in 2016 by Shiquan Wang and grew out of Stanford University research, with headquarters in Shanghai. In April 2019 it launched Rizon, which it describes as the world's first adaptive robot: an arm that completes production-line tasks reliably despite positioning uncertainty or disturbance, now spanning the Rizon 4, Rizon 4S and Rizon 10. A Series B of over $100 million closed in December 2020 and a Series B+ of nearly $100 million followed in July 2022, taking the company past a $1 billion valuation with backers including Meituan, New Hope Group, Gaorong Capital and GSR Ventures. It maintains offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Foshan, Silicon Valley, Taiwan and Singapore.
