Galaxea AI Robots

Galaxea AI was founded in Beijing in September 2023 by a team of scientists from Tsinghua and Stanford. Its R1 series are full-size dual-arm wheeled humanoids with a vertical operating range up to 2 m and a 700 mm horizontal reach, sold into algorithm training, robot deployment and embodied-AI data collection. The company reports more than 40 customers including Huawei Cloud, Volkswagen, Haier, Samsung, ByteDance, Physical Intelligence, Stanford and MIT, and has raised over $100 million across two rounds at a reported $700 million valuation. Its robots also trade under the Galaxea Dynamics storefront name.
