Genesis AI Robots
Genesis AI was founded in December 2024 by Zhou Xian, Théophile Gervet and Tsun-Hsuan Wang to build a universal robotics foundation model. It combines real-world robot interaction, high-fidelity physics simulation and rendering, and internet-scale embodied data to train general-purpose physical AI, and has since moved to a full-stack robot platform. The company emerged from stealth with a $105 million seed round co-led by Eclipse Ventures and Khosla Ventures, with Bpifrance, HSG, Eric Schmidt, Xavier Niel and HongShan participating, and operates from both California and Paris.
