GigaAI Robots

Beijing, ChinaFounded 2023

GigaAI was founded in Beijing in 2023 and is led by CEO Huang Guan, who previously headed visual perception at the autonomous-driving chip company Horizon Robotics. It develops world models — an approach to AI aimed at robotics, video games and self-driving — through two systems: GigaWorld, which builds a simulated picture of the world for robots, and GigaBrain, which interprets situations and decides actions. Those models underpin its SeeLight S1 home robot and Maker H01 industrial robot. The company raised a multi-billion-yuan B1 round and a ¥1 billion B2 round following an earlier investment from Huawei's Hubble, reaching a reported $3 billion valuation, and has said it intends to list in Hong Kong.
