Kinisi Robotics is a Bristol, UK company developing the KR1 wheeled semi-humanoid robot for picking, placing, assembly and order fulfilment, with an 8-hour runtime, 10 kg payload and automatic docking recharge. It was co-founded by Brennand Pierce, previously a co-founder and Chief Robotics Officer of Bear Robotics. Bear Robotics announced a definitive agreement to acquire Kinisi on 22 June 2026; on closing the Kinisi team and its Bristol engineering centre were folded into Bear Robotics, with Pierce returning to Bear as Chief Robotics Officer. The kinisi.com domain now redirects to Bear Robotics.
