Noble Machines Robots
Noble Machines, founded in spring 2024 and formerly known as Under Control Robotics, builds rugged general-purpose humanoid robots for heavy industry. Its first platform, Moby, carries a 60 lb (27 kg) payload and handles steep inclines and outdoor terrain. The company was founded by engineers from Apple, SpaceX, NASA and Caltech, including co-founder Wei Ding, and its approach centres on whole-body AI control with rapid language-based learning. It rebranded to Noble Machines Inc. and exited stealth on 3 March 2026, having shipped to a Fortune Global 500 customer within 18 months of launch.
