Overview
Oversonic Robotics, founded in 2020 and based in Besana in Brianza, Italy, builds RoBee, a cognitive humanoid robot designed to work alongside people in complex industrial environments and to interact with operators and other robotic systems through AI. RoBee is described as the first cognitive humanoid certified to operate in factories and is deployed in Italy and abroad. STMicroelectronics, Fondazione ENEA Tech Biomedical and SpotInvest took stakes in the company in 2026, joining earlier backers including the Cysero fund managed by AVM Gestioni SGR, Kilometro Rosso, Datalogic and Edison.
