Its founding team previously shipped production hardware at Boston Dynamics, Tesla, Oculus and ASML, and the company targets a platform roughly an order of magnitude cheaper than comparable humanoids. Backing includes a round led by Khosla Ventures alongside the co-founders of Dropbox and Cruise.
