Robbyant Robots
Robbyant is the operating name of Shanghai Ant Lingbo Technology Co., the humanoid robot subsidiary Ant Group established in late 2024. It showed its first-generation R1 humanoid at the 2025 Inclusion Conference on the Bund in Shanghai — 110 kg, between 1.6 and 1.75 m tall, moving at under 1.5 m/s with 34 degrees of freedom — demonstrating tour guiding, sorting medicine in pharmacies, medical consultation and basic kitchen work. It is one arm of a wider Ant Group push into embodied AI spanning roughly a dozen robotics investments since 2025.
