Sarcomere Dynamics Robots

St. Albert, AlbertaFounded 2021Website

Sarcomere Dynamics was founded in 2021 in St. Albert, Alberta by Harpal, Avtar and Nancy Mandaher, and develops near-human dexterous robotic hands for system integrators and manufacturers. Its ARTUS hand is built on biomimetic principles, with an industrial version in aircraft-grade aluminium rated for payloads up to 20 kg. The hands can be driven by teleoperation through a haptic control glove with one-for-one finger mapping and touch data returned to the operator, and are used in food packing, electronics, hazardous-materials handling and remote operations.
