Siasun Robot & Automation was founded in 2000 by Qu Daokui and is affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, with headquarters in the Hunnan District of Shenyang. It is one of China's largest and most established full-spectrum robotics manufacturers, organised around industrial robots, mobile robots and special-purpose robots, with application focus on welding, assembly and logistics automation. Its Shenyang industrial park is the largest robotics production base in China and includes the country's first Industry 4.0 demonstration factory, with annual capacity above 10,000 robot units. Products are exported to 32 countries, supported by subsidiaries and regional centres in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Germany, Japan, the United States and Mexico.
