Spirit AI Robots

Beijing, ChinaFounded 2024Website

Spirit AI was founded in Beijing in January 2024 and builds the control intelligence for humanoid robots, co-led by Han Fengtao, formerly CTO of Rokae Robotics. Its Moz1 is a full-body force-controlled humanoid with 26 degrees of freedom, built on the company's own vision-language-action model, using high power-density force-control joints and whole-body control to reach a payload-to-weight ratio of about 1:1. Moz1 has been deployed for assembly work at CATL's Zhongzhou battery facility and in JD.com retail settings for customer interaction and product demonstration. The company raised close to ¥2 billion across two rounds backed by CATL, Huawei, Xiaomi and HongShan, valuing it above ¥10 billion.
