Sunday Robotics, founded in April 2024 by Stanford robotics researchers Tony Zhao and Cheng Chi, builds Memo, a household robot that identifies objects in kitchens and dining areas, picks them up and loads appliances such as dishwashers. Memo is trained on roughly 10 million real-world household episodes gathered from more than 500 homes using the company's Skill Capture Glove. The company emerged from stealth in November 2025 with $35 million from Benchmark and Conviction, and reached a $1.15 billion valuation in March 2026.
