Svaya Robotics
Svaya Robotics was founded in Hyderabad in 2018 by Vijay Seelam to build collaborative robots and general-purpose humanoid systems for next-generation factories. Working with DRDO laboratories — the Research and Development Establishment in Pune and the Defence Bio-engineering and Electro Medical Laboratory in Bengaluru — the company developed India's first indigenous quadruped robot and a wearable exoskeleton, with the quadruped intended for reconnaissance and inspection across unstructured terrain unsafe for people.
