Twolabs Robots
Twolabs was founded in 2026 by Danyal Ahmad and Sardor Rahmatulloev and is based in San Francisco. The company builds modular humanoid robots plus the software platform to train, deploy and scale them, focusing initially on caregiving in nursing homes and senior living centres — feeding, dressing, medication and companionship. Its first robot design is called Tobi. The founding team combines robotics hardware experience from Cornell combat robots with AI backgrounds spanning Meta Superintelligence Labs and Georgia Tech. Twolabs is part of Y Combinator's Spring 2026 batch.
