Overview
Walker X is UBTECH Robotics' flagship bipedal humanoid robot, presented by the company as a commercial service platform for human-robot interaction. It is built for autonomous operation in dynamic indoor environments, pairing whole-body bipedal locomotion with dexterous dual-arm manipulation.
The robot uses upgraded vision-based navigation, including first-person-view AR navigation and obstacle-avoidance technology, to move and make decisions more autonomously and to avoid moving objects. Deep learning powers object recognition and self-developed facial recognition so it can understand and interact with its surroundings.
Its anthropomorphic design enables human-like gestures and facial expressions via a curved facial display, supporting safe, natural collaboration with people in service settings.
